Me: "I'm not sure what I would do if I came face-to-face with a wild boar. I mean, is there something you are supposed to do to survive? Like when you are attacked by a shark and you poke him in the eyes to get away."
Hubs: "You're supposed to punch a shark in the nose."

So, a little online research tells me that sharks can be fended off by punching them in the snout or gills and poking them in the eyes. In the unlikely event of an attack, I'll stick with the first.
Also, wild boars can’t cut corners very well, so you are supposed to run in a cirle or you could climb a tree and wait it out.
