Chase decided she wanted to be a book, called "Abracadabra Big Sister" this year. It was way more challenging then I ever imagined it would be, but in the end it turned out to be great costume. Mads was a peacock rugby player.
What? Haven't you heard of a peacock rugby player?

Poo Poo In The Potty
Today Mads put her first poo poo in the potty. She was overjoyed. So excited she stuck her head IN TO the toilet to get a closer look at her good work. We all celebrated. She has been trying for a month now and finally did it!

Brunch
We spent yesterday at a champagne brunch to celebrate a 2-year-old birthday at Top Deck, a large floating restaurant in Aberdeen Harbour. Recognized as one of Hong Kong's leading tourist attractions, Jumbo Kingdom (where Top Deck is located) has had 30 million visitors - including Queen Elizabeth II (if you believe Wikipedia).
A shot of the sink in the bathroom - should I be worried that I actually took a picture of a bathroom sink?
Missed the shot on the way in, but you can see the restaurant behind me

US Trip: Mississippi & Alabama
We finally made it to Jackson, Mississippi. We spent a couple days with Hub's grand-daddy and his wife, Mimi.
While in Jackson, we went to the Jackson (MS) zoo. And while the following water fountain series does not include a single animal, it's one of my favorite collections of photos.
And of course, we saw a couple animals, too...
And then headed back to see Grand-Daddy
From there, we headed to Alabama, where we spent the rest of our time. Most days were spent in the park - Chase and Mads loved feeding the ducks.
The girls also spent quality time outside with Yei-Yei and Nee-Nee.
We also made ice cream !
And then it was time to say good-bye...

US Trip: Maryland
And then we went to Maryland, to visit my Grandfather, uncles and aunts (loads of pictures below). While we were there, we also took a trip to the Maryland Zoo and a farm, that had loads of promise, but not much to see.
At the Maryland zoo...
And yes, there were more goats...
And a very big kitty...
Back at the house, we spent lots of time with Uncle Mike
And Grandpa!
We had a chance to play with Auntie Elizabeth
And spent more time with Uncle Mike and Aunt Janet
Gave Uncle Shawnee and Aunt Elizabeth lots of love
The next day, we went to a farm, that didn't have many animals, but it did have goats! Yes, more goats. We saw so many goats. But the farm didn't have much going on, so the girls played for a long time at a playground near the farm.
That night, Auntie Michelle came by for dinner
And then we said our good-byes ...
We love you guys!
